O Fado at Regents College Portuguese Week

O Fado was present at Regents College’s Festival of Gastronomy and Culture with a Portuguese Art Workshop in the Knapp Gallery.
From the 11th to the 15th of May, Regents College has introduced Portugal to their students and staff.
Ligia Fonseca, artisan, responsible for O Fado’s handicrafts workshops, was representing O Fado with a live painting of Azulejos (Portuguese tiles) open to everyone who would like to experience the painting themselves.
A multimedia presentation with techniques of this art and samples of decorative azulejos in Portugal was also available.
