A Fado evening with Anglo Portuguese Society

Anglo Portuguese Society and O Fado associate on this event to promote the knowledge of Fado, the Portuguese music by excellency.
On the night of 12th March, Liliana Costa gives half an hour talk about the origins of fado and its close relationship with the history of Portugal.
This will be followed by a traditional Portuguese meal and by the performance of O Fado’s resident artists: João Nunes with a sample of Coimbra fado and Liana singing fado from Lisboa.
